The Lise Meitner Campus of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie (HZB) is located in Berlin-Wannsee, in the southwestern part of the city. Named after the renowned physicist Lise Meitner, the campus is home to cutting-edge research in materials and energy science. It hosts state-of-the-art laboratories and the BER II research reactor, which played a key role in neutron science until its decommissioning.
